Ken Altreuter,
CPC
Managing
Director | Short Biography
Ken Altreuter has had an extensive
corporate & search career along with a BA in Economics & an
MBA. Ken worked for the Singer Co. for 18 years. Starting as an
Industrial Engineer in its Elizabeth Plant, he progressed through
management positions in plant operations, distribution/product
service to Director of the world wide Product Planning Department.
Ken then moved to the Pepsi Cola Company as National Service Manager
in its Corporate Headquarters in Purchase, NY.
In 1985, Ken began recruiting by
starting The ALTCO Group. The ALTCO Group serves 4 industries (Food,
Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Personal Products) and focuses
on technical & operations positions. The largest portions of
search activity are centered around engineering, product development
& plant operations positions. Searches are generally from the VP
level to professionals with 5 years of experience.
Ken has been on the Board of Directors
& Vice President of The New Jersey Staffing Association. He is a
member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals, American Society
for Quality Control, & NJ Business & Industry Association.
Ken has written articles for various business & professional
magazines on how to work with recruiters from both a candidate &
employer standpoint. He has also been frequently quoted by Dow
Jones' National Employment Weekly on employment issues & trends.
He is also active with 2 non-profit organizations in the development
& continuing content of their web sites. Ken's military service
was with the A.S.A.

John Shea, CPC

Short Biography
John has over 10 years of executive
search experience with The ALTCO Group and is a Certified Personnel
Consultant. He primarily works with consumer products manufacturing
companies, whose products are found in food or drug stores. His main
focus is finding engineering and operations support people for
client companies, filling positions ranging from those requiring 2-5
years of experience to Directors of Engineering or
Operations.
After graduating from Cornell
University with a degree in Industrial & Labor relations, John
served as an Officer in the US Army, including a tour as a pilot in
the Republic of South Vietnam. John joined industry in Personnel, at
the plant and corporate levels, holding various positions, including
Personnel Manager. He worked for several leading consumer products
and office supply manufacturer, switching from Personnel to
Manufacturing management. John served as a Plant Manager,
responsible for 95 hourly employees and had full budgetary
responsibility for $3MM in direct expenses. He also served as
Director of Manufacturing for up to 150 unionized hourly employees
and over $7MM in direct expenses.

Ingo
Petersen Recruiter |
Short Biography
Ingo spent the major portion of his
career in Human Resources for Profit and non-profit Corporations. He
began his career in College Recruiting while completing his BS in
Personnel Management at New York University. His career progressed
from Personnel Assistant to Personnel Manager and then Vice
President of Human Resources for corporations like Diamond Power
Specialty Corp, Beechnut-Lifesavers Inc, Allied Chemical, Sandoz
Pharmaceutical and Raritan Bay Medical Specialty Corp. During this
period he took graduate level courses in Economics at Ohio State
University. Later at New School for Social Research in New York
City. He has recruited, screened, interviewed and hired hundreds of
applicants from machine operators to Vice Presidents.
Ingo is the newest addition to The
ALTCO Group and has spent the past 5 years concentrating on the
recruitment of superior professional candidates anxious to secure
challenging job assignments. He estimates he devotes 90% of his time
advancing the career aspirations of Packaging Engineers with our
clients & associate specialist recruiters in all
industries.
